11 Chinese Firms Selected; Lightstandard Named WEF Technology Pioneer

11家中国企业入选,光本位荣登世界经济论坛年度技术先锋(图1)

On June 23, the World Economic Forum in Davos officially announced the 2025 Global Technology Pioneers list, which includes 100 startups from 28 countries, all of which represent disruptive innovations in their respective fields.

This year, 11 Chinese companies were selected, covering fields such as photonic computing, large AI models, intelligent robots, high-performance sodium-ion batteries, and molecular technology platforms. Lightstandard was selected for its achievement of "using photonic computing technology to improve the computing speed and energy efficiency of large language models".

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Tech Pioneers community. To date, the community has recognized over 1,200 startups that are continuously reshaping industries and society globally. Verena Kuhn, Director of the World Economic Forum's Innovators Community, said, "This global community will help startups connect with networks and ecosystems, supporting their scaling."
