On the morning of July 10th, the 2025 University Technology Transfer and Transformation Conference, the 2nd Suzhou International Science and Technology Innovation Conference, and the 17th International Elite Entrepreneurship Week series of events opened, with over 100 domestic and international academicians in attendance, including Nobel Prize laureate in Physics John Michael Kosterlitz . The International Elite Entrepreneurship Week is a high-level talent introduction and innovation and entrepreneurship resource interaction platform that the Suzhou Municipal Party Committee and Government are striving to build .
The event proudly unveiled the "2025 Suzhou Innovation and Entrepreneurship Leading Talent Major Innovation Teams," with Mr. Cheng Tangsheng, founder of Lightstandard, successfully selected as the team leader. Major Innovation Teams primarily support talent teams with an international perspective and strategic vision, capable of breaking through key core technologies in industries, promoting the transformation of major scientific and technological innovation achievements, and rapidly seizing the commanding heights of the industry. The 15 selected Major Innovation Teams all focus on "bottleneck" technologies in their respective fields, and are all globally influential major innovation teams capable of leading and driving industries towards high-end extension and leapfrog development, covering fields such as photonics, artificial intelligence, integrated circuits, biomedicine, and advanced materials.
