On November 25th, the 5th "Gathering Talents" Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summit grandly opened. Chen Jining, Secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Committee, attended the opening ceremony, along with municipal leaders Wu Wei, Zhao Jiaming, Zhang Wei, Hua Yuan, and Xie Dong, representatives from talent affairs departments and other relevant departments of over 20 provinces and cities, and representatives from universities, research institutes, and investment institutions both domestically and internationally. Lightstandard, with its disruptive innovative technology and broad application prospects, stood out from over 10,000 outstanding projects worldwide and won the highest award of this competition—the Golden Gathering Award.
Wu Wei, member of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Committee and Executive Vice Mayor, presented an honorary trophy to Cheng Tangsheng, co-founder and general manager of Lightstandard. This weighty honor is a high affirmation of Lightstandard's firm commitment to innovation and unremitting efforts.

Cheng Tangsheng received the "Golden Gathering Award" trophy, symbolizing recognition and expectations, from Vice Mayor Wu Wei, and spoke as a representative of the award winners: " Founding a technology company was my childhood dream. At the age of 24, I returned to China and founded Lightstandard, hoping to solve the problems of insufficient computing power and high energy consumption in artificial intelligence with photonic chip technology. Because of this dream, I have never given up, even when faced with various difficulties. The entire process of the 'Gathering of Talents' competition, especially today's summit, has deeply moved me. I am probably one of the youngest winners this year. I admire and am moved by the innovative and entrepreneurial experiences of many senior figures present. It is the millions of entrepreneurs who make Shanghai and China full of vitality, which will always inspire me to relentlessly pursue the light and continue to innovate in the field of optical computing chips!"
At the summit, Dai Minmin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Shanghai State-owned Capital Investment Co., Ltd., signed agreements with 10 high-quality projects, including Lightstandard, on behalf of the "Haiju Yingcai" Venture Capital Fund.

The Organization and Personnel Newspaper of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China also published an interview with Cheng Tangsheng in its special edition on the competition. In the interview, Cheng Tangsheng said: "We will use optical computing as our blade to carve out the glory of Chinese manufacturing on AI computing chips and achieve 'leapfrog development' in the struggle for the right to define the new AI computing paradigm."
